- Ficus - Ficus trees are one of the most popular and versatile trees. With over 800 different species and literally thousands of varieties, ficus plants are found around the world.
- Tropical style plants and trees are those that are, as the name indicates, native to the tropics---the area between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn bordering the Equator. These trees are not frost-tolerant and are usually evergreen. In cooler climates, many tropical plants and trees have been adapted as houseplants.
